Buying a home - WFMW
I admit, I'm a little one track focused these days on the home buying process. Yesterday, as I was gathering all the documents we needed for our mortgage lender, I came across this site that the lender sent us to (we had to take/pass the "test" as part of the mortgage application) and wanted to pass it on to you.
It's a really informative, simple, yet detailed "class" on buying a home and all that goes into it and should be considered before, during and after. It's not that I didn't already know the major details, but understanding some of the lingo, and even more details in general was really great and I look forward to passing it on to other friends and family that are looking toward the home buying process in the future. In the words of the infamous NBC public service announcements..."the more you know..."
Works for me! Check out more great ideas at Shannon's post!

Handy! We bought our first home a few years back and it was perhaps not the best choice - it's a gigantic white elephant that needs huge amounts of renovations! Still, it's a funny house to live in.

Oooo, great idea! We bought our first place about a year ago and it really worked out but there is so much to learn! Wonderful idea! Our tip is up and we're also hosting the Carnival of the Vanities today - busy day in duck-land!
